Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CrateSnipe (the “Service”), operated by an individual sole operator based in New York, USA. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The service

CrateSnipe helps you track records you want and notifies you when matching listings appear on third-party marketplaces. CrateSnipe is a monitoring and notification tool only — all purchases happen on the third-party marketplace, not through CrateSnipe.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Access is currently invite-only. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or abuse it, accessing it by unauthorized means, or using it to violate any law or the rights of others.

Third-party marketplaces; no affiliation

CrateSnipe is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discogs, eBay, or any other marketplace. All marketplace names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Listing data, prices, condition, and availability are provided by third parties, may be inaccurate or out of date, and can change at any time — always verify details on the marketplace before purchasing. Your use of any marketplace is governed by that marketplace’s own terms.

No guarantee

We do not guarantee that every relevant listing will be detected, that alerts will be delivered or timely, or that any record will be available or remain at a given price. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Plans

Some features may be offered as part of paid plans. Where a paid plan applies, its details are provided to you at the time.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by the operator and protected by applicable law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we disclaim all implied warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrateSnipe and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any missed listing, purchasing outcome, or third-party action, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date above.
